QNET, a leading global lifestyle and wellness company using the direct selling model to promote and sell its products in Ghana and across the world, has achieved a significant milestone with its partnership with the Economic and Organised Crime Office, EOCO, an anti-graft government agency. QNET and EOCO implemented a joint operation that led to the arrest of nine suspected fraudsters. Twenty-six victims were rescued from the arrested individuals.
Following the successful operation, EOCO released a press statement stating: “The operation code name ‘Operation Quest’ followed intelligence that some foreigners and Ghanaians had been trafficked under the guise of providing employment with the QNET company, a reputable company which trades in wellness and lifestyle products.”
QNET signed a partnership agreement in July this year, with EOCO to clamp down on the activities of scammers and fraudsters who deceive innocent people under the guise of overseas employment, visas, investment schemes and other false premises.
